J.D. Roth is an accidental personal-finance expert--a regular guy who found himself deep in debt. After deciding to turn his life around, he read everything he could about money and finance. In 2006, he started the award-winning website GetRichSlowly.ORG [NOT .com], which Money Magazine named the Web's most inspiring personal-finance blog. Over the past four years, Get Rich Slowly has grown into an active community where thousands of readers a month share ideas on how to improve their financial lives. J.D. lives with his wife and four cats in a hundred-year-old house in Portland, Oregon.</itunes:summary>

Herersquo;s a little bit about me, my background, what I do and why I do it.

Irsquo;m a 50-something single guy living in beautiful Fort Lauderdale, FL, the yachting capital of the world. I live in a modest house on a canal off the intracoastal waterway and have a boat behind my house. I love riding motorcycles (Softail Custom) sailing, fishing, traveling and laughing out loud as often as possible.

As far as credentials go, Irsquo;ve collected a few. Irsquo;ve been a CPA since 1980 and have also earned licenses in stocks, commodities, options, mutual funds, life insurance and real estate. I spent 10 years working for three Wall Street firms (EF Hutton, Shearson and Prudential) and have been investing in both stocks and real estate for more than 30 years.

For the last 20 years, Irsquo;ve written, produced and distributed Money Talks News, a consumer/personal finance TV news feature that airs in about 80 cities nationwide as well as around the web. Irsquo;ve now done close to 3,000 personal finance news stories. Irsquo;ve also written a few books, including what I modestly consider to be the best how-to-get-out-of-debt book in the known universe, Life or Debt.

My name is Trent Hamm, and in April 2006, I went through a complete financial. I threw myself head first into trying to figure out every nuance of fixing my financial situation, and after a few months I began to get the picture. Within eight months, I had paid off all of my credit card debt, paid off my vehicle, and also established an emergency fund. Since I have a passion for writing and I had learned so much about how personal finance really works, I established this blog near the end of 2006 to tell the world about what I had learned and help people who were struggling with the same things.

<itunes:summary>U.S investing champion Mark Minervini shares the secrets behind his incredible triple digit returns.

[singlepic id=150 w=0 h=0 float=left]

Mark Minervini is an internationally known stock market trader and businessman.nbsp; Minervini was named U.S. Investing Champion in 1997 after finishing the real-money investment derby with a 155% return for the year, nearly double the results of the next nearest competing money manager. He entered the competition with his own money to demonstrate the capabilities of his SEPAreg; technology, which focuses on early identification of potential superior performing companies. In the 1990s, Minervini had a 5frac12; year personal account track record of 220 percent average annual compounded return. Minervini is featured in Jack Schwagerrsquo;s book Stock Market Wizards: Interviews with America's Top Stock Traders, 2003 and 2008 editions.

In 1998, Minervini publicly voiced two back-to-back market calls, which propelled him into the media spotlight. He has extensive media experience and was a regular guest on CNBC, CNN, and Fox News television. Shortly before the 2000 decline, Minervini decided to take some time off from trading. During his hiatus, he developed technology, creating a platform with proprietary software, to educate and deliver timely market information to investors, thereby shifting his focus from providing research material to institutional investors to helping individuals and stock traders learn his methods and utilize his strategy. After taking the time to trademark and build his brand, Mark started Minervini Private Access, LLC, a platform for online trading and education of individual investors and stock traders.

Minervini maintains a blog at http://www.markminerviniblog.blogspot.com/. Often posted on his blog is the Q#38;A from his Webinars. On October 16-17, 2010, for the first time, Minervini will facilitate a Master Trader Program where participants will learn his coveted SEPAreg; formula and spend up to 13 hours of intense personal training with him at the Myrtle Beach Marriott Resort #38; Spa at Grande Dunes.
